Good Funeral Awards 2018 & Ideal Death Show 2018

159 Windham Road, Bournemouth, BH1 4RQ Tel 07545 232980

10 September 2018

Comparethecoffin.com has been selected to go through to the final stages of this year’s glittering Good Funeral Awards ceremony at the Highcliff Hotel in Bournemouth on Saturday 15 September.

Comparethecoffin.com is now in line to win the prestigious national title of Most Helpful Funeral Website.

The Good Funeral Awards are now in their seventh year and recognize excellence in the world of funerals, rewarding the best funeral directors and all associated services that are involved in creating memorable funerals.

This year’s ceremony will be part of the Ideal Death Show – a three-day festival of the funeral world, including an exhibition, death cafés in a yurt and a cruise illustrating how ashes can be safely scattered.

Speakers will include the author of My Father’s Wake, Kevin Toolis, a mortuary attendant and an embalmer.

Wholly independent of the funeral industry, the awards are decided on the basis of consumer reviews and recommendations from within the trade.

“The Good Funeral Awards recognize exceptional service to bereaved people from all aspects of the funeral industry and supporting services. By progressing this far, Steven Mitchell and Comparethecoffin.com has already demonstrated outstanding professionalism, empathy and a willingness to go the extra mile,” said Brian Jenner, organizer of the event.
